23 of August 2008 is the Grand Opening Ceremony for Swinburne Univeristy Technology Sarawak Campus. This is indeed a very special occasion for our university as well as for the state. The opening of the univeristy's expanded campus signifies an important chapter for higher education in Sarawak.
Our CPA club and other clubs in Swinburne were involved in the Grand Opening Ceremony. It was such a priviledge for us to line up along the red carpet in the new hall and waved our flags to welcome the Honourable Ministers and Distinguished Guests. We enjoyed it very much.
