CPA-Curtin Undergraduate Business Conference 2008

On the 19th of September, eight of us from Swinburne CPA club went to Miri to attend the CPA Undergraduate Business Conference organised by Curtin Accounting Club. No doubt, it was a great trip and we enjoyed to the fullest. Pictures can speak louder than words. Thus, we would like to share the fun time and unforgettable experience we had with all of you through the pictures taken.

The conference was held on the 20th of September. It was a full day event.
Theme: Jazz Up, Fuel up, Shine!
Objectives :
  • To provide learning and sharing platform between students and experts in their respective industries
  • To instill desirable attributes into graduates
  • To assist graduates to adapt to work force

We arrived at Miri Airport around 8.10pm. Everyone was hungry. Supper time at one of the Malay stall. Most of us had roti canai:) Good time chit chatting with the Curtin mates, Joseph, Yuki and Shirlene

We stayed at Imperial Hotel. It was a nice hotel. :) Thanks to Lilian for booking it for us.

Photo taking time inside the apartment of Imperial Hotel. We look like a family, aren't we?

20th September 2008

Curtin friends drove us using Curtin shutter from our hotel to Curtin Uni. We left as early at 7.30am. Everyone was excited and joyful.

At last, we arrived at Curtin University. It took us approximately 20 minutes drove from our hotel to the uni.

Beautiful compound inside Curtin. There are so many trees which makes the Uni looks so green and environmental friendly. Great atmostphere.
